The LEED Gold-certified athletics complex includes the renovation of an existing 7,000 SF building into a student fitness facility, the construction of a new 35,000 SF competition gymnasium, and a new six-court tennis complex.

The competition gymnasium includes two recreational cross courts, 1,200-seat bleachers that preserve floor space, a two-story atrium lobby, concessions as well as team rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, storage, and maintenance facilities.

To meet the needs of both the academic and athletic programs, the existing shower and locker building was remodeled to house the new fitness facility, which includes faculty/staff offices for the Physical Education and Athletics programs, a weight room, and two multipurpose rooms for aerobics, spinning, and dance. This multifaceted project reimagined the quad that joins the fitness, gym, and tennis courts with connecting walkways and drought-tolerant landscaping.
